TREE RISK EVALUATION

The Village of Russells Point will be collaborating with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Forestry to perform an evaluation of trees in the village. This is an opportunity to assess trees that may have been damaged by the EF3 Tornado on March 14, 2024.

This process involved ODNR staff and Russells Point Officials conducting field studies of tree measurements and conditions. There may be some markings on the trees as the process moves forward.

Russells Point Council will establish a Tree Commision and Ordinance for the preservation of trees in the village and planning for replacement trees lost due to the tornado.
