RUSSELLS POINT PARK CLOSES FOR UPDATES - November 1, 2019

The Russells Point Park located next to the Municipal Building will close for the winter months effective November 1, 2019.  During this time, upgrades will be done to the playground area including a new border and ground cover.  The work will be completed during the winter months, as weather permits and will re-open in the Spring of 2020.  The walking path will remain open to the public during this time.

HELP WANTED

VILLAGE MAINTENANCE TEAM WORKER.  The Village of Russells Point is accepting applications for a full-time Village Maintenance Worker.  Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; valid Ohio driver’s license; ability to perform physical labor and work in adverse weather conditions; experience operating mowers, dump truck, heavy equipment, various hand tools; and ability to report for duty during emergency situations.  Application and complete job description available here or at the Russells Point Municipal Building, 433 St. Rt. 708, Russells Point.  Deadline for consideration is Friday, November 22, 2019 at 4:30 p.m.  E.O.E.

NOTIFICATION OF LITTER & WEEDS REQUIREMENTS
Pursuant to Russells Point Ordinance 17-1150 and Codified Ordinance section 521.11 regarding Litter & Weeds, the owner, occupant, or any other person having the care of any lot within the Village will be issued a notice of violation for noxious weeds, vines and grass at a height of twelve inches or more; and shall not permit the accumulation of litter.  Failure to comply with a notice of violation will result in village incurred costs, and an administrative fee of five hundred dollars assessed to the property owner.  For a complete copy of Ordinance 17-1150 select the link below.
