Press Release - Storm Water Drainage Project 

VILLAGE OF RUSSELLS POINT

STORM WATER DRAINAGE PROJECT

Beginning 09/23/2024, weather permitting, there will be a temporary closure of a section of E. Main Street at the intersection of E. Main Street/Orchard Island Road.


The road will be open to all businesses and local traffic only. Temporary traffic restrictions and delays may be necessary. Every effort will be made to provide prompt access to properties during this time.


Helms & Sons Excavating as well as the Village of Russells Point appreciates your cooperation throughout this project as our crews will work diligently to get this work completed. Please use caution when travelling in the construction zones. We appreciate your patience during this infrastructure project.


 Indian Lake Schools Homecoming Parade will not be affected by this temporary road closure.

BOIL WATER ORDER HAS BEEN CANCELLED
The Boil Water Alert for Burkhart and Gathering Grounds has been lifted. The water is safe for consumption and no longer needs to be boiled.
We apologize for any inconvenience.

VILLAGE OF RUSSELLS POINT

Council Vacancy


A vacancy exists on the Village of Russells Point Council.  The term will begin immediately upon being sworn in by the Mayor and will end on December 31, 2025.  Interested people may make their intentions known to the Council to be considered as nominee for a vacancy at the next regular meeting held on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 7:00 P.M.​
​To be qualified, interested people must be a registered voter, reside in the village for one year preceding their appointment/election and with few exceptions; they may not hold any other public employment or have any interest in any contract with the village.  For more information, please contact Mayor John Huffman at 937-843-2245 extension 7.​
