If the “Financial Responsibility Proof” Box is marked “NO”, you should provide a copy of proof of valid insurance on the vehicle you were driving on the date the ticket was issued. Failure to do so may result in further action from the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Proof of insurance must be provided on the date the payment is made for the ticket. 

You may fax proof of insurance for the vehicle you were driving on the date of the traffic stop to 937-843-9956 - "Attention Court" or email it to hullingera@russellspoint-oh.gov.

If you appear in Mayor’s Court and are found Guilty, you may be assessed Court Costs of $95.00 depending on the outcome of the case.

With a “Not Guilty” plea, the case will be transferred to Bellefontaine Municipal Court for Trial.​

PAYMENT OPTIONS

TO PAY THE TICKET VIA MAIL WITHOUT APPEARING IN COURT:

Sign the back of the ticket. 

Enclose payment made out to “Russells Point Mayor’s Court”, P.O. Box 30, Russells Point, OH 43348-0030.

Your payment must be received before your court date/time to have your case removed from the Court Docket.

TO PAY THE TICKET IN PERSON OR USING THE DROP BOX WITHOUT APPEARING IN COURT:

Office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00-4:30. Offices are closed on Wednesdays.

A Drop Box is available to the left of the main entrance of the Russells Point Municipal Building at 433 State Route 708.

Please note that the credit card processing company charges a small fee for utilizing their services. It is not charged or collected by Russells Point Mayor’s Court. You can cancel the transaction if you prefer another payment method.
